My new top speed

Windguru was spot on yesterday with the wind - down to the hour. The day started with no a leaf moving until 11am, then someone turned on the wind tap for some awesome 14-20 knots. Strangely although it was blowing at Bronkies, there was not much happening in Jo'burg or Pretoria.

Apparently Malcolm and Phillip broke some land speed records getting to the dam once the wind switched on. I got my top recorded speed on the GPS of 28 knots (52.7pm/h) which on my equipment is scary-fast. That was on a xantos 295, 34cm fin and my trusty arrows 7.1 grand slam sail (almost 10 years old).

Here's a few pics of the day.

I love a good NW wind at bronkies!
