Wednesday Windsurfing

I don't often get to sail during the week because of working, so now that I'm on leave for a month I get to sail those windy days that have me staring out the window in frustration during work. The wind wasn't the best I've ever sailed, gusting from about 5 knots to 20knots, but the best part was NO JETSKIS! In fact no boats at all, no wakes, no drunk clowns trying to see how close they can get to you...wonderful.

One of nice parts of gusty wind, that Julian pointed out, is that there is no chop on the water. That means you can really sit back in the harness and enjoy blasting across the water, without needing to concentrate on what the water does in front of you.

It's easy when you're cute

We're only 10 days in and I can't imagine life without Cayley, althought she hasn't completely turned our lives upside down yet because she is such an easy baby. She eats well, sleeps well and is generally very relaxed most of the time. Nicky is recovering so quickly that soon everything should get to a new "normal" state.

Thanks again to everyone for the flowers, sms's, emails, gifts, phone calls and visits, it has made this a very special experience for all of us. \
